Opening of the Damian Lunn Theatre: Thu 11 Feb 2010

On Thursday 11 Feb 2010 we will be holding an event to open the newly named ‘Damian Lunn Theatre’ (the current school theatre). For those of you who did not know Damian, he was a drama teacher at SNS who sadly passed away in March 2009. As the theatre was his teaching space and his ‘pride and joy’, it is a lovely way to remember him.

The event will start in the school foyer (with wine) at 6pm where there will be a short presentation and the theatre will be officially opened. We will then continue in the theatre with some footage of Damian teaching and performing and some speeches by ex students, teachers, Annie and his parents. Students will then perform a short extract from the school production which is an adaptation of the play ‘Woyzeck’.
