Extended Schools

All schools have a remit to share their expertise and facilities with the wider community and this is the responsibility of our Extended Schools department.

We are part of the North Hackney Cluster of Extended Schools working collaboratively so that we are better able to meet the needs of the community by sharing facilities and pooling resources.

We run a number of targeted courses aimed at adults, which include basic numeracy and literacy as well as family support groups and parenting classes and a range of holiday activities for primary school and secondary school age students.

We also are able to hire out the facilities to community groups and can work with them to promote their activities to our community.
